Jerry Mick is the Senior Pastor of Crosspoint Church in Bangor, Maine. Pastor Mick has been serving the Lord in the ministry of the church since January of 1984. Since that time, he has been a high school and elementary teacher, athletic director, school principal, assistant pastor, associate pastor, and since 1997, has been the senior pastor of Crosspoint Church. They have been at Crosspoint for 34 years and Jerry has been senior pastor for 20+ years. He serves as the President of New England Bible College and Grace Evangelical Seminary, which offers courses in various locations throughout Maine, with the main campus in Bangor.
Pastor Mick has a Graduate of Theology degree from Baptist Bible College, a Bachelor’s degree in pastoral ministry and Bible from Baptist Bible College, a Bachelor’s degree in education from Lincoln University, a Master’s degree from the University of Maine in school administration, and a Master’s degree in counseling/human relations from Liberty University.
Pastor Mick has been involved in missions for a number of years and has served in Albania, Tanzania, Zambia, China, Nepal, Tibet, Cambodia, Philippines, Belize, Russia, Laos, Thailand, Haiti, and Vietnam doing mission work. The church is heavily involved in missions with a Faith Promise budget of over $165,000, supporting fifty missionaries. He has served as Executive Director and Chairman of the Board of “Outreach To Asia Nationals” located in Winchester, Virginia. OTAN is a mission organization that raises funds and helps to educate pastors in Asia. Their philosophy is very simple. Train the national to reach their own culture with the gospel of Jesus Christ. He still teaches for the organization in various countries.
Jerry is married to his lovely wife Jane. Together they have two adult children, Ryan and Renee and three grandchildren, Westyn, Giana, and Capri.
